Becky Brandenburg, B.A. Ed., ESMT, CMT

My journey in massage therapy began as a horse owner seeking help for my horse, a retired race horse with hind end issues.

That journey has now led to this program. I’ve drawn on my experience as both a therapist and a long time educator to develop this course of study.

My objective is not to churn out as many therapists as possible. That is why my class size is limited to 4 students per session. My goal is that those who choose and successfully complete this program are effective. Whether they choose to work for themselves or for others. And, that each time they place their hands on a horse, they make a difference in that animal’s life. Competence and confidence.

As for my retired race horse… she lived for 33 wonderful, active years!

Becky has studied with the leading training organizations in the field of animal massage, and has worked with one such group in curriculum development. The canine massage certification and equine massage certification offered at Brandenburg Massage Therapy, LLC are unique programs developed from Becky’s 40+ years in education and 22 years as a therapist. The courses have been awarded the Approved Provider status with the National Certification Board of Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB) as well as Preferred Educator with the International Association of Animal Massage and Bodywork. (IAAMB)
