The Brandenburg Massage Therapy, LLC Canine Massage Therapy Certification Program has as its goal the training of skilled and professional therapists who seek to provide the benefits of deep tissue massage. With the skills you acquire you will deepen your bond with your dog, and if it is your intent, will have the tools necessary to develop a practice.

In our time together

We will discuss the history and benefits of massage
You will learn basic anatomy and muscle function
You will learn the tactile application of massage strokes
You will work on several dogs of varying sizes
We will discuss basic dog handling
You will be given resources that will serve you beyond our time together
We will discuss business, offering personal insight into developing and operating a practice

I have been meaning to write this letter since returning from your canine massage class on 8/16/2010, but as I am sure you know, time can sometimes escape us. I just wanted to let you know what a wonderful learning experience your class provided me. The experiences you shared, personal and professional, were both invaluable and inspirational. In addition, having a peer in the class (Emily Hacker) who also works with animals provided me with a different outlook on caring for dogs. While I couldn’t have asked for a better instructor and a more amicable peer, it was the dogs that stole my heart. Please give Abby, Dixie, Fez, The Chairman, and especially Hank a big hug from me.

Lastly, I want to thank you for accepting me. You did not judge when I said I wasn’t sure what I was going to do with this training. Nor did you ever make me feel “less than” because I was not in the animal field. Most importantly, when I left class after taking my examinations, I truly felt that I had earned that certificate. Your class is intensive and offered more than I could have ever anticipated.

I found an animal chiropractor in our area, and I plan to go talk with him about fusion marketing; he refers me to his clients, and I refer him to mine.
