I have been a therapist for 8 years and an educator for 30 years. This program is the result of those two worlds colliding! I’d like to share a few thoughts on what I feel separates this program from others available.
First: Class size. My goal is to answer your questions and develop your skills. That can’t happen effectively in large classes. You will receive one-on-one guidance. With 4 students the maximum, this is possible.
Second: The starting time of 9 am on Friday, and the end time of 5 pm on Sunday is the only time frame I’ll adhere to. We will work as long as we need on each day. Again, my goal is to make you comfortable and confident.
Next: Each dog in my program is a rescued dog. Each has benefited tremendously from massage. My newest, and smallest, is Fezz, a Coton rescued from an Amish puppy mill. The largest is Hank, a Great Dane. We’ll share their stories as they help you learn.
And finally: I am a practicing therapist. I’ve been where you are…at the beginning. And, as I hope you’ll understand, as successful practitioners, we never finish. We continue to learn each time we place our hands on an animal, for they are the best teachers.
I look forward to sharing my experience and helping others develop as practicing therapists.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
