About the Therapist

Becky Brandenburg, B.A. Ed., ESMT, CMT is a certified animal massage therapist. She is a member of the International Association of Animal Massage Therapists and the International Association of Animal Massage and Bodywork.

Becky has studied with the leading training organizations in the field of animal massage, and has worked with one such group in curriculum development. The canine massage certification offered by Becky is a unique program developed from her years of experience in both massage therapy and education.

Becky has been an active defender of owner’s rights in the care and treatment of their animals. She has presented testimony to the West Virginia State Racing Commission and won praise from the Commission for her work with Thoroughbred racehorses.

Becky’s work in Sportsmassage focuses both on the alleviation and prevention of existing muscle problems. From the Hunter, Dressage, Reining and Pleasure barns to the Harness and Thoroughbred Racing tracks, from obedience and agility clubs to private grooming establishments, the number of dogs and horses benefiting from Becky’s work continues to grow.
